As we begin to understand the wider impact of the pandemic on the commercial real estate market, it is increasingly clear that the relationship between landlord and tenant is shifting. Meeting rent obligations has become impossible for many, and this has put a spotlight on traditional lease structures and rent collection cycles. The voluntary code of conduct called for landlords and tenants to act as “economic partners” and in the spirit of transparency and collaboration in the face of uncertainty. How does the sector understand the changing face of leasing to create long-term solutions for the future?
Watch the Bisnow webinar replay where experts use the latest data to better understand a new and evolving landscape, and discuss possible solutions for the real estate industry to navigate a new future and the potential long-term effects on the landlord-tenant relationship in different sectors.
